Organic Spirit captured the essence of our event with perfectly matched food and drink which embodied our Casablanca movie theme. The food was sensational. The dishes were unusual and delicious and served with real invention like the warm medjool dates stuffed with herby goat’s cheese and the bejewelled tabbouleh in baby gem lettuce leafs. The welcome cocktails and shooters were fantastic and had everyone wondering about the ingredients - from the mild spice of the cardamom syrup in Rick's mint tea cooler to the dash of date molasses in the Bogart chilled Moroccan spiced espresso shooter. Service was friendly, upbeat and warm, nothing was too much trouble and the kitchens and work areas at our host venue were left spotless. It's been exciting to discover a new creative event and home party caterer that has such flair as well as advocates a green ethos. So if you want your food locally produced and seasonal or three trees planted in Indonesia for every party booked then Organic Spirit is probably unique in this respect - in tune with its clients and also the environment. Organic Spirit worked alcoholic wonders at our big day in a grand Shropshire country house. The cocktails were imaginative, delicious and designed just for us! They captured the essence of our personalities in the cocktails and everyone loved them. David Boyd the head mixologyst did it all with flair, a theatrical spirit and sparkling professionalism. He's a legend and a lovely chap to boot. And I'm stone cold sober as I write this! I would recommend them to everyone including my brother who also had Organic Spirit take the reins at the bar at his wedding.

I was able to relax and enjoy the evening knowing that every detail was taken care of . From selecting the cocktails which were unique and specific to the occasion, to sourcing the right materials and taking control of the staff. Once the party had been taken care of, they even sorted the venue out afterwards. With top architects, interior designers and the lifestyle press attending, the launch of Plain English’s new kitchen needed to make a big impact and Organic Spirit ensured it did. Their classic 60’s cocktails went down a storm (everyone was talking about the Applewood-Smoked Whiskey Sours) and, despite having double the expected number of guests, no one would have known the bar was under stress; those cocktails just kept coming: David Hamilton-Boyd worked magic with his cocktail shaker; in fact, maybe a little too much magic…no one would go home!
